(AB 2745)   Effective January 1, 2017.","effective":"2017-01-01","html":"<p>(a) Except as provided in subdivisions (b) and (c), the board shall revoke the license of any person who has been required to register as a sex offender pursuant to Section <a href=\"/pen/290\">290</a> of the Penal Code for conduct that occurred on or after January 1, 2017.</p><p>(b) This section shall not apply to a person who is required to register as a sex offender pursuant to Section <a href=\"/pen/290\">290</a> of the Penal Code solely because of a misdemeanor conviction under Section <a href=\"/pen/314\">314</a> of the Penal Code.</p><p>(c) This section shall not apply to a person who has been relieved under Section <a href=\"/pen/290.5\">290.5</a> of the Penal Code of his or her duty to register as a sex offender, or whose duty to register has otherwise been formally terminated under California law.</p><p>(d) A proceeding to revoke a license pursuant to this section shall be conducted in accordance with chapter 5 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/bpc/11500\">11500</a>) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code.</p>","text":"(a) Except as provided in subdivisions (b) and (c), the board shall revoke the license of any person who has been required to register as a sex offender pursuant to Section 290 of the Penal Code for conduct that occurred on or after January 1, 2017.
