A corporation may merge with one or more domestic corporations (Section <a href=\"/corp/167\">167</a>), social purpose corporations (Section <a href=\"/corp/171.08\">171.08</a>), foreign corporations (Section <a href=\"/corp/171\">171</a>), or other business entities (Section <a href=\"/corp/174.5\">174.5</a>) pursuant to this chapter. Mergers in which a foreign corporation but no other business entity is a constituent party are governed by Section <a href=\"/corp/1108\">1108</a>, mergers in which a social purpose corporation but no other business entity is a constituent party are governed by Section <a href=\"/corp/1112.5\">1112.5</a>, and mergers in which an other business entity is a constituent party are governed by Section <a href=\"/corp/1113\">1113</a>.</p>","text":"Any two or more corporations may be merged into one of those corporations.
