Effective January 1, 2004.","effective":"2004-01-01","html":"<p>If the Superintendent of Public Instruction determines that there has been a willful failure to make any report required by this article, the superintendent shall do both of the following:</p><p>(a) Notify the school district or the county office of education in which the willful failure has occurred.</p><p>(b) Make an assessment of not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000) against that school district or county office of education.
