Notwithstanding Section <a href=\"/edc/35534\">35534</a>, the effective date of the order is not subject to compliance with Section <a href=\"/gov/54900\">54900</a> of the Government Code. Compliance with Section <a href=\"/gov/54900\">54900</a> of the Government Code is required by December 1 of the year in which the order is made.</p>","text":"An order of a county committee attaching the territory of a lapsed school district to one or more adjoining school districts shall be effective for all purposes on the July 1 after date of the order.
