(AB 215)   Effective January 1, 2015.","effective":"2015-01-01","html":"<p>(a) The notice of suspension and intention to dismiss shall be in writing and served pursuant to Section <a href=\"/edc/44936\">44936</a>. A copy of the charges filed, containing the information required by Section <a href=\"/gov/11503\">11503</a> of the Government Code, together with a copy of the provisions of this article, shall be attached to the notice. If the employee does not demand a hearing within the 30-day period, he or she may be dismissed upon the expiration of 30 days after service of the notice.</p><p>(b) An employee who demands a hearing shall file a single document containing his or her request for a hearing pursuant to this section and a notice of defense pursuant to Sections <a href=\"/gov/11505\">11505</a> and <a href=\"/gov/11506\">11506</a> of the Government Code.</p>","text":"(a) The notice of suspension and intention to dismiss shall be in writing and served pursuant to Section 44936.
