(AB 504)   Effective January 1, 2012.","effective":"2012-01-01","html":"<p>Notwithstanding any other law, the Santa Barbara Unified School District may impose a special tax in compliance with Article 3.5 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/gov/50075\">50075</a>) within the boundaries of the former Santa Barbara Elementary School District upon approval of the voters within the boundaries of the former Santa Barbara Elementary School District.
