Effective January 1, 1993.","effective":"1993-01-01","html":"<p>(a) A violation of Section <a href=\"/gov/51182\">51182</a> is an infraction punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500).</p><p>(b) If a person is convicted of a second violation of Section <a href=\"/gov/51182\">51182</a> within five years, that person shall be punished by a fine of not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500).</p><p>(c) If a person is convicted of a third violation of Section <a href=\"/gov/51182\">51182</a> within five years, that person is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500).</p>","text":"(a) A violation of Section 51182 is an infraction punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500).
