(AB 1430)   Effective January 1, 2012.","effective":"2012-01-01","html":"<p>(a) For the purposes of Chapter 1 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/gov/57000\">57000</a>) to Chapter 7 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/gov/57176\">57176</a>), inclusive, of Part 4 or Part 5 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/gov/57300\">57300</a>), for each of the following entities proceedings for a change of organization shall be conducted pursuant to the principal act authorizing the establishment of that district:</p><p>(1) A unified or union high school library district.</p><p>(2) A bridge and highway district.</p><p>(3) A joint highway district.</p><p>(4) A transit or rapid transit district.</p><p>(5) A metropolitan water district.</p><p>(6) A separation of grade district.</p><p>(b) For other districts, where the principal act provides, the procedures in the principal act shall supersede the procedures set forth in this division.</p>","text":"(a) For the purposes of Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 57000) to Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 57176), inclusive, of Part 4 or Part 5 (commencing with Section 57300), for each of the following entities proceedings for a change of organization shall be conducted pursuant to the principal act authorizing the establishment of that district: (1) A unified or union high school library district.
