(SB 164)   Effective June 29, 2026.","effective":"2026-06-29","html":"<p>(a) This section governs the use of the Health Plan Improvement Trust Fund, previously renamed in former Section 130208.</p><p>(b) The moneys in the Health Plan Improvement Trust Fund shall, upon appropriation by the Legislature, be made available for the purposes in Sections <a href=\"/hsc/127771\">127771</a> and <a href=\"/hsc/127772\">127772</a> and Chapter 8.5 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/hsc/127671\">127671</a>).</p><p>(c) Notwithstanding Section <a href=\"/gov/16305.7\">16305.7</a> of the Government Code, all interest earned on moneys that have been deposited in the Health Plan Improvement Trust Fund shall be retained in the fund and used for purposes consistent with Sections <a href=\"/hsc/127771\">127771</a> and <a href=\"/hsc/127772\">127772</a> and Chapter 8.5 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/hsc/127671\">127671</a>).</p>","text":"(a) This section governs the use of the Health Plan Improvement Trust Fund, previously renamed in former Section 130208.
