(AB 1495)   Effective January 1, 2026.","effective":"2026-01-01","html":"<p>(a) A person who provides classroom and supervised practical training for a home health aide, as mandated in Section <a href=\"/hsc/1736.1\">1736.1</a>, shall be either of the following:</p><p>(1) A registered nurse who possesses a minimum of two years nursing experience, at least one year of which is in home health care.</p><p>(2) A licensed vocational nurse under the general supervision of a registered nurse who meets the requirements of paragraph (1).</p><p>(b) Notwithstanding any other law, a person described in subdivision (a) shall not be required to hold a teaching credential to provide instruction as part of a home health aide certification program, as described in Section <a href=\"/hsc/1736.1\">1736.1</a>.</p>","text":"(a) A person who provides classroom and supervised practical training for a home health aide, as mandated in Section 1736.1, shall be either of the following: (1) A registered nurse who possesses a minimum of two years nursing experience, at least one year of which is in home health care.
