Effective January 1, 1996.","effective":"1996-01-01","html":"<p>“Legal owner” means a person holding a security interest in a manufactured home, mobilehome, commercial coach, floating home, or truck camper perfected by filing the appropriate documents with the department pursuant to Section <a href=\"/hsc/18080.7\">18080.7</a> if the person is entitled to the designation, as provided in Article 3 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/hsc/18085\">18085</a>) or 4 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/hsc/18098\">18098</a>) of Chapter 8.
