(AB 235)   Effective September 22, 2018.","effective":"2018-09-22","html":"<p>Every apprentice agreement under this chapter shall be approved by the local joint apprenticeship committee or the parties to a collective bargaining agreement, or by the administrator where there is no collective bargaining agreement or joint committee, a copy of which shall be filed with the Division of Apprenticeship Standards. Every apprentice agreement shall be signed by the employer, or his or her agent, or by a program sponsor, as provided in Section <a href=\"/lab/3080\">3080</a>, and by the apprentice, and if the apprentice is a minor, by the minor’s parent or guardian.
