(AB 1527)   Effective January 1, 2013.","effective":"2013-01-01","html":"<p>Section <a href=\"/pen/626.9\">626.9</a> does not apply to or affect any of the following:</p><p>(a) A security guard authorized to openly carry an unloaded handgun pursuant to Chapter 6 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/pen/26350\">26350</a>) of Division 5 of Title 4 of Part 6.</p><p>(b) An honorably retired peace officer authorized to openly carry an unloaded handgun pursuant to Section <a href=\"/pen/26361\">26361</a>.</p><p>(c) A security guard authorized to openly carry an unloaded firearm that is not a handgun pursuant to Chapter 7 (commencing with Section <a href=\"/pen/26400\">26400</a>) of Division 5 of Title 4 of Part 6.</p><p>(d) An honorably retired peace officer authorized to openly carry an unloaded firearm that is not a handgun pursuant to Section <a href=\"/pen/26405\">26405</a>.</p>","text":"Section 626.9 does not apply to or affect any of the following: (a) A security guard authorized to openly carry an unloaded handgun pursuant to Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 26350) of Division 5 of Title 4 of Part 6.
