Effective July 18, 1984.","effective":"1984-07-18","html":"<p>(a) Up to two members of a county board of supervisors who have served as a member of a county board of equalization pursuant to Section <a href=\"/rtc/1601\">1601</a> may serve on an assessment appeals board.</p><p>(b) Notwithstanding Sections <a href=\"/rtc/1623\">1623</a> and <a href=\"/rtc/1623.1\">1623.1</a>, the term of office for any member of a county board of supervisors who serves on an assessment appeals board shall not exceed his or her term of office as a member of a county board of supervisors.</p>","text":"(a) Up to two members of a county board of supervisors who have served as a member of a county board of equalization pursuant to Section 1601 may serve on an assessment appeals board.
