Effective January 1, 2005.","effective":"2005-01-01","html":"<p>(a) Lienholders who acquire a vehicle subject to Section <a href=\"/veh/22851.2\">22851.2</a> shall satisfy their lien pursuant to Sections <a href=\"/veh/22851.8\">22851.8</a> and <a href=\"/veh/22851.10\">22851.10</a> if the vehicle has a value not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500), as determined pursuant to Section <a href=\"/veh/22670\">22670</a>.</p><p>(b) All forms required by Sections <a href=\"/veh/22851.8\">22851.8</a> and <a href=\"/veh/22851.10\">22851.10</a> shall be prescribed by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
