(AB 473)   Effective January 1, 2024.","effective":"2024-01-01","html":"<p>(a) No franchisor shall establish or maintain a performance standard, sales objective, or program for measuring a dealer’s sales, service, or customer service performance that is inconsistent with the standards set forth in subdivision (g) of Section <a href=\"/veh/11713.13\">11713.13</a>.</p><p>(b) No franchisor shall allocate vehicles or parts in a manner inconsistent with the standards set forth in subdivision (a) of Section <a href=\"/veh/11713.3\">11713.3</a>.</p><p>(c) No franchisor shall impose a facility or equipment policy inconsistent with the standards set forth in subdivision (a), (b), (c), or (k) of Section <a href=\"/veh/11713.13\">11713.13</a>.</p><p>(d) No franchisor shall compete with a dealer in violation of subdivision (o) of Section <a href=\"/veh/11713.3\">11713.3</a>.</p><p>(e) A franchisee may file a protest with the board for determination of whether a franchisor has complied with this section and in that proceeding the franchisor shall have the burden of proof.</p>","text":"(a) No franchisor shall establish or maintain a performance standard, sales objective, or program for measuring a dealer’s sales, service, or customer service performance that is inconsistent with the standards set forth in subdivision (g) of Section 11713.13.
