(SB 1157)   Effective January 1, 2023.","effective":"2023-01-01","html":"<p>(a) On or before January 1, 2028, the department, in coordination with the board, shall submit a report to the Legislature on the progress of urban retail water suppliers towards achieving their urban water use objective pursuant to Section <a href=\"/wat/10609.2\">10609.2</a>.</p><p>(b) (1) The requirement for submitting a report imposed under subdivision (a) is inoperative on January 1, 2032, pursuant to Section <a href=\"/gov/10231.5\">10231.5</a> of the Government Code.</p><p>(2) A report to be submitted pursuant to subdivision (a) shall be submitted in compliance with Section <a href=\"/gov/9795\">9795</a> of the Government Code.</p>","text":"(a) On or before January 1, 2028, the department, in coordination with the board, shall submit a report to the Legislature on the progress of urban retail water suppliers towards achieving their urban water use objective pursuant to Section 10609.2.
