Youth Center and Youth Shelter Bond Act Program [2010. - 2025.]","url":"https://blackletter.si/welfare-and-institutions-code/division-2.5/chapter-2/article-2"}],"history":"Added by Stats. 1988, Ch. 1535, Sec. 1.","effective":null,"html":"<p>(a) A recipient of a contract for the acquisition of a facility to be used as a youth center or youth shelter shall assure that the facility will be used for that purpose for at least 10 years from the date of acquisition.</p><p>(b) A recipient of a contract for the construction of a facility to be used as a youth center or youth shelter shall assure the department the facility will be used for that purpose for at least 20 years after completion of construction. </p><p>(c) A recipient of a contract for the renovation of an existing facility to be used as a youth center or youth shelter shall assure the department the facility will be used for that purpose for the following periods:</p><p>(1) Not less than three years from the date the contract terminates, where the amount of the award does not exceed thirty thousand dollars ($30,000).</p><p>(2) If the award exceeds thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), the fixed period of time shall increase one year for each additional ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or part thereof, to a maximum of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000).</p><p>(3) For awards which exceed seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000), the fixed period of time shall not be less than 10 years.</p>","text":"(a) A recipient of a contract for the acquisition of a facility to be used as a youth center or youth shelter shall assure that the facility will be used for that purpose for at least 10 years from the date of acquisition.
