ARTICLE 3. Application of the Chapter

This chapter does not authorize any person to practice medicine and surgery or to furnish the services of physicians for the practice of medicine and surgery. This chapter does not repeal or in any manner affect any provision of this code relating to the practice of medicine. This chapter does not prohibit the performance of tests not covered in Section 1206.
