ARTICLE 5. Expiration and Renewal of License

Repealed (in Sec. 15) and added by Stats. 2023, Ch. 571, Sec. 2. (AB 1244) Effective January 1, 2024. Operative January 1, 2025, by its own provisions.

(a) A private investigator license, branch office certificate, qualified manager license, and pocket card issued under this chapter expires at midnight on the last day of the month two years following the date of issuance unless renewed.

(b) This section shall become operative on January 1, 2025.
