Added by Stats. 2009, Ch. 361, Sec. 2. (SB 741) Effective January 1, 2010. Section operative January 1, 2011, pursuant to Section 7574.16.

No person shall engage in the business of a proprietary private security employer unless registered with the department pursuant to this chapter. However, a proprietary private security employer meeting one of the requirements of Section 7574.14 shall be considered exempt from registration.
