Government Code § 56722

ARTICLE 1. Incorporation

Added by Stats. 2000, Ch. 761, Sec. 110. Effective January 1, 2001.

If a petition is for incorporation of a new city, or consolidation of cities, the petition may propose a name for the new or consolidated city.

The proposed name for the new or consolidated city may contain the word “town.”
