Health and Safety Code § 50470.5

ARTICLE 1. General Provisions

For purposes of this chapter:

(a) “Department” means the Department of Housing and Community Development.

(b) “Local government” means any city, county, city and county, or the duly constituted governing body of an Indian reservation or rancheria.
