ARTICLE 5v. Veterans’ Bond Act of 1996

For the purpose of establishing a fund to provide farm and home aid for veterans in accordance with the Veterans’ Farm and Home Purchase Act of 1974 (Article 3.1 (commencing with Section 987.50)), and of all acts amendatory thereof and supplemental thereto, the committee may create a debt or debts, liability or liabilities, of the State of California, in the aggregate amount of not more than four hundred million dollars ($400,000,000), exclusive of refunding bonds, in the manner provided herein.
