CHAPTER 4. Local Agency Design-Build Projects

Added by Stats. 2017, Ch. 821, Sec. 4. (AB 851) Effective January 1, 2018. Repealed as of January 1, 2031, pursuant to Section 22169.

Upon approval by its governing body, the Santa Clara Valley Water District may use the design-build contracting process described in this chapter to award a contract for the following projects:

(a) Flood protection improvements.

(b) Habitat restorations or enhancements.

(c) Groundwater recharge or storage facilities.

(d) Water treatment facilities.

(e) The retrofit, repair, or expansion of existing surface water storage facilities.
