Water Code § 50331

ARTICLE 3. Filing and Recording

When a district is situated partly in different counties, the board, after the petition has been granted, shall forward a copy of the petition and the order approving the same to the clerk of the board of supervisors of each of the counties in which any portion of the district is situated.
