Water Code § 74508
CHAPTER 1. Powers and Duties Generally
A district may levy and collect a ground water charge for the production of water from the ground water supplies within the district or within a zone or zones thereof in the manner prescribed in Part 9 (commencing with Section 75500) of this division.
