Note: In the text, "this act" refers to Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 300), which was added June 2, 1998, by Prop. 227 and amended Nov. 8, 2016, by Prop. 58.

The provisions of this act may be amended by a statute that becomes effective upon approval by the electorate or by a statute passed by a majority vote of each house of the Legislature and signed by the Governor.
