“Commercial salmon vessel operator” is a commercial fisherman who operates a commercial salmon vessel for which a valid commercial salmon vessel permit has been issued pursuant to Article 4.5 (commencing with Section 8230) of Chapter 2 of Part 3 of Division 6 of the Fish and Game Code.
