Water Code § 53801
CHAPTER 4. Transfer of Districts From One County to Another
The board of supervisors of the county to which the district is transferred, the officers thereof, and the officers of the district shall thereafter perform all acts required to be performed in connection with the district with the same authority and effect as though the district had been originally organized within that county.
